Domaine Vincent Paris Granit 60 Vieilles Vignes Cornas 2021

Domaine Vincent Paris Granit 60 Vieilles Vignes Cornas 2021

97 Points - James Suckling. Ā From old Syrah vines clinging to granite slopes as steep as 60%, Vincent Paris produces one of the Northern RhĆ“ne’s most compelling expressions of Cornas. The ā€œGranit 60ā€ cuvĆ©e comes from 60-year-old vines rooted deep in the hard, poor soils of the south-facing hillside—yielding fruit of exceptional intensity and mineral depth.

Vivino Rating: 4.1 (Jul 2025)

Wine Press Ratings

97 Points - James Suckling (2021 Vintage)

"This is my dream of Cornas in a glass. Incredibly deep, blueberry, smoky and peppery nose with a twist of mystery. Stunning concentration and complexity on the plush and pristine palate, the enormous mineral freshness powering the extremely long, complete finish. Only 13% alcohol. Drinkable now, but best from 2025."

Taste

Explosive aromatics of dark blueberry, smoked bacon, peppercorn and crushed granite. The palate is firm and tightly coiled, with inky black fruit, iron-rich tannins, and a streak of cool-climate acidity. Textured, concentrated, and layered, with a long finish of spice and stone. A wine that rewards patience and demands respect.
